Matt’s passion in business consulting is strategic planning. The thrill of planned business execution runs deep in his accounting veins. A dedicated team player, Matt enjoys collaborative engagements with other like-minded professionals who can survey a situation, develop a solution oriented strategy, and then drive flawless execution. Be it the opportunity for simple operations planning, a complex tax strategy, a start-up opportunity, or a strategic exit, Matt engages with passion, balance and open mindedness.
Outside of work, Matt and his wife, Peggi, enjoy spending time with their three adult children. An active volunteer, Matt is the former president of Fairfax Little League (Dominion League) and former treasurer of Robinson High School Athletic Boosters. He has also spent time behind the microphone announcing high school lacrosse. Matt currently serves on the Executive Council for the College of Business and Economics at Radford University and is Chair-Elect for the Accounting Advisory Council at George Mason University.
